Check Out Our Signs at TIFF this Year!

Baseline is often chosen for our laser cutting in Toronto. We’ve been able to work on a number of unique projects you can find around the city.

September marks the annual Toronto International Film Festival, otherwise known as TIFF – one of the largest public film festivals that takes place in the world. Dubbed “Canada’s premier home of cinema”, TIFF operated out of the TIFF Bell Lightbox in downtown Toronto. TIFF’s mission is to “transform the way people see the world through film” – and hosts screenings, lectures, workshops, and discussion panels to learn about filmmaker perspectives from Canada and elsewhere in the world.

If you’re planning on making the trek down to enjoy the TIFF festivities this year, be sure to keep an eye out for TIFF’s custom fabricated “TIFF” signs.

5 years ago Baseline custom fabricated two stylized “TIFF” metal signs which were laser cut and fabricated in our 13,000 square foot facility. All steel was formed and welded to make every part of the fixture including the signs, letters, and sign box. The signs also feature an enamel finish, which we also applied in-house. Despite being 5 years old, both signs are still in great shape – having maintained their overall quality and durability.
